So I have been really trying to restrain myself from posting too much, but since I am still job searching and freelancing isn’t too busy yet, I do have some time on my hands. Anyway, today it snowed in Golden for the first time since we’ve been here – hooray! It’s weird that I’m excited but with it being December, I’m ready for it. And it was a good snowfall, too – about six inches in a few hours.
Since I wanted to enjoy the first day of snow, this afternoon I took Sadie for a short walk along Clear Creek downtown Golden, near the library. With just our great little Canon Powershot point-and-shoot camera, I got some gorgeous winter shots that I just had to share:

Ahh…black and white photography winterscapes. Beautiful! And here are some delightfully snowy photos of our place – doesn’t it look cute? It sort of makes me want to create a gingerbread house…

The snow makes the view from our office even prettier.
Now it’s time for some hot cocoa and peppermint sticks!
Love,
Laura
