You want to know more about me? You got it. Read up!

1.23 – I realized how great it is to be a part of a church community. We’re part of four different small groups and are quickly making new, quality friends. I can’t imagine how we would establish ourselves so well without this community.
1.24 – I learned how to slice and dice an onion much more effectively. I used to be terribly slow at cutting onions but now I’ve got a new technique.
1.25 – I realized that it’s not so scary to cold call business people after first sending out an introductory email. The email makes a good reference point to begin a conversation – not just a sales pitch.
1.26 – We accomplished registering Signify, LLC here in CO. Took us long enough (only two months), but it’s official…bring on the business!
1.27 – I learned that having to market myself (through an exorbitant amount of cover letters) and my company (through self-promotional emails and follow up calls) has really helped maintain my business communication skills.
1.28 – I realized that I can truly empathize with people who have had a bad experience with something and are cynical about future experiences. I hate the feeling of skepticism but it’s difficult to shake when it’s a reoccurring thing. However, I did learn that I need to initially give everyone the benefit of the doubt.
1.29 – I accomplished interviewing at Smooch the Pooch as a sales representative. Yes, the company is what you think it is – a doggy boutique. Desperate times call for desperate measures…haha, no but really, it sounded fun and I’ll take any interview I can get! (ps. i drove an hour for a one-minute interview. hmm. typical retail practice or did i smell? i guess we’ll see…)
