Okay so hi. I’ve been totally overwhelmed…mostly in a good way. But a little stressful, too. Because business is booming, people!
For the last two months I’ve been pretty much up to my eyeballs in design and PR work. It’s been SO GOOD for us as we’re trying to save money but I need to figure out a way to better manage my time – maybe setting up one day a week where I will get a babysitter or something. Because I had another meltdown one day last week (of course I did) and after some talking with a few good friends and a loving husband, realized that this “busy season” may not be temporary. Which is fantastic but so crazy with a baby. Being a work at home mom is challenging!
And that’s all I’ll say about that…for now.
Because I have TWO WEEKS of photos to share with you. First, I will start with our trip up Mt. Evans last weekend. It. was. GORGEOUS. And we took Sonora in her hiking backpack for the first time – yay! Super cute and hilarious. Also? She likes to drink from the Camelbak. Here are just a select few of the amazing shots we got on our color tour and hiking excursion.

Family portrait on a mountain. Baby in her jammies.

We were literally surrounded by neon yellow. Trees were blazing in the sun.

There was this huge patch of bright yellow across the way, as the sun hit it just right.

Love the moody atmosphere.

Baby hand pressing against the baby backpack.

This view is incredible on so many levels.

Loving the camelbak.

Thirsty little bugger!

It was a pretty gorgeous water break.

The sun came out!

It was a gorgeous drive.
And I have a few more photos of our trip on Facebook. Yeah, yeah, I know. I WAS going to stop posting there but it has this strange pull…
Love,
Laura
Beautiful! We were in Colorado in September 2008 and it was so gorgeous. We’d love to live there someday. :) Also, one of my captcha words below is Explorations, kind of a funny coincidence. :)
